It is hard to guess what a Long-eared hedgehog weights. But we have the answer:
An adult Long-eared hedgehog (Hemiechinus auritus) on average weights 332 grams (0.73 lbs).
The Long-eared hedgehog is from the family Erinaceidae (genus: Hemiechinus). It is usually born with about 9 grams (0.02 lbs). They can live for up to 6.75 years. When reaching adult age, they grow up to 21 cm (0′ 9″). On average, Long-eared hedgehogs can have babies 1 times per year with a litter size of 3.
As a reference: An average human weights in at 62 kg (137 lbs) and reaches an average size of 1.65m (5′ 5″). Humans spend 280 days (40 weeks) in the womb of their mother and reach around 75 years of age.
The long-eared hedgehog (Hemiechinus auritus) is a species of hedgehog native to Central Asian countries and some countries of the Middle East. The long-eared hedgehog lives in burrows that it either makes or finds and is distinguished by its long ears. It is considered one of the smallest Middle Eastern hedgehogs. This hedgehog is insectivorous but may also feed on small vertebrates and plants. In captivity they can live for over 7 years.Since the long-eared hedgehog is naturally parasite prone and can carry diseases as bad as plague, it is highly recommended that, if kept as a pet, it should be purchased from a respected dealer. Wild hedgehogs have been found to carry Rhipicephalus sanguineus, the brown dog tick, which can transmit Boutonneuse fever.
