It is hard to guess what a Sloggett’s vlei rat weights. But we have the answer:
An adult Sloggett’s vlei rat (Otomys sloggetti) on average weights 106 grams (0.23 lbs).
The Sloggett’s vlei rat is from the family Muridae (genus: Otomys). It is usually born with about 11 grams (0.02 lbs). When reaching adult age, they grow up to 18.2 cm (0′ 8″). On average, Sloggett’s vlei rats can have babies 4 times per year with a litter size of 1.
