It is hard to guess what a Pichi weights. But we have the answer:
An adult Pichi (Zaedyus pichiy) on average weights 1.49 kg (3.28 lbs).
The Pichi is from the family Dasypodidae (genus: Zaedyus). It is usually born with about 105 grams (0.23 lbs). They can live for up to 9 years. When reaching adult age, they grow up to 29.7 cm (1′ 0″). Usually, Pichis have 2 babies per litter.
As a reference: An average human weights in at 62 kg (137 lbs) and reaches an average size of 1.65m (5′ 5″). Humans spend 280 days (40 weeks) in the womb of their mother and reach around 75 years of age.
The pichi (Zaedyus pichiy), dwarf armadillo or pygmy armadillo is a armadillo native to Argentina and Chile. It is the only living member of the genus Zaedyus, and the only armadillo to hibernate.
