What is the maximal age a Barbary sheep reaches?
An adult Barbary sheep (Ammotragus lervia) usually gets as old as 21 years.
Barbary sheeps are around 156 days in the womb of their mother. When born, they weight 4.5 kg (9.92 lbs) and measure 4.7 cm (0′ 2″). As a member of the Bovidae family (genus: Ammotragus), their offspring is 1 babies per pregnancy. Fully grown, they reach a bodylength of 1.45 meter (4′ 10″).
