The Bennett’s chinchilla rat is from the family Abrocomidae (genus: Abrocoma). They can live for up to 2.25 years. When reaching adult age, they grow up to 22.4 cm (0′ 9″). Usually, Bennett’s chinchilla rats have 4 babies per litter.
