An adult Black wallaroo (Macropus bernardus) on average weights 17 kg (37.48 lbs).
The Black wallaroo is from the family Macropodidae (genus: Macropus). When reaching adult age, they grow up to 64.6 cm (2′ 2″). Usually, Black wallaroos have 1 babies per litter.
As a reference: An average human weights in at 62 kg (137 lbs) and reaches an average size of 1.65m (5′ 5″). Humans spend 280 days (40 weeks) in the womb of their mother and reach around 75 years of age.
The black wallaroo (Osphranter bernardus), Bernard’s wallaroo or Woodward’s wallaroo, is a species of macropod restricted to a small, mountainous area in Arnhem Land, Northern Territory, Australia, between South Alligator River and Nabarlek. It classified as near threatened, mostly due to its limited distribution. A large proportion of the range is protected by Kakadu National Park.
