It is hard to guess what a Crested servaline genet weights. But we have the answer:
An adult Crested servaline genet (Genetta cristata) on average weights 1.86 kg (4.11 lbs).
The Crested servaline genet is from the family Viverridae (genus: Genetta). They can live for up to 34 years. When reaching adult age, they grow up to 51.5 cm (1′ 9″). On average, Crested servaline genets can have babies 2 times per year with a litter size of 2.
As a reference: An average human weights in at 62 kg (137 lbs) and reaches an average size of 1.65m (5′ 5″). Humans spend 280 days (40 weeks) in the womb of their mother and reach around 75 years of age.
The crested servaline genet (Genetta cristata), also known as the crested genet, is a genet species endemic to Nigeria and Cameroon. As the population has declined due to loss of habitat, it is listed as Vulnerable on the IUCN Red List. It was first recorded in the Mamfe Division in Cameroon and initially considered a subspecies of the servaline genet (Genetta servalina). But now it is regarded as a distinct species.
