How much does a Vaquita weight?

It is hard to guess what a Vaquita weights. But we have the answer:

An adult Vaquita (Phocoena sinus) on average weights 43.11 kg (95.05 lbs).

The Vaquita is from the family Phocoenidae (genus: Phocoena). When reaching adult age, they grow up to 1.52 meter (5′ 0″).

As a reference: An average human weights in at 62 kg (137 lbs) and reaches an average size of 1.65m (5′ 5″). Humans spend 280 days (40 weeks) in the womb of their mother and reach around 75 years of age.

The vaquita (Phocoena sinus) is a species of porpoise endemic to the Gulf of California. Averaging 150 cm (for females) or 140 cm (for males) in length, it is the smallest of all living cetaceans. Today, the species is on the brink of extinction. Recent research estimates the population at fewer than 19 individuals. The steep decline in abundance is primarily due to bycatch in gillnets from the illegal totoaba fishery.
