An adult Cape grysbok (Raphicerus melanotis) usually gets as old as 14 years.
When born, they weight 916 grams (2.02 lbs) and measure 19.1 cm (0′ 8″). They are a member of the Bovidae family (genus: Raphicerus). Fully grown, they reach a bodylength of 82.4 cm (2′ 9″).
