It is hard to guess what a Guam flying fox weights. But we have the answer:
An adult Guam flying fox (Pteropus tokudae) on average weights 153 grams (0.34 lbs).
The Guam flying fox is from the family Pteropodidae (genus: Pteropus). When reaching adult age, they grow up to 14.5 cm (0′ 6″). Usually, Guam flying foxs have 1 babies per litter.
As a reference: An average human weights in at 62 kg (137 lbs) and reaches an average size of 1.65m (5′ 5″). Humans spend 280 days (40 weeks) in the womb of their mother and reach around 75 years of age.
The Guam flying fox (Pteropus tokudae), also known as the little Marianas fruit bat, was a tiny megabat from Guam in the Marianas Islands in Micronesia that was confirmed extinct due to hunting or habitat changes. It was first recorded in 1931 and was observed roosting with the larger and much more common Marianas flying fox. The last specimen was a female found roosting at Tarague cliff in March 1967, but it escaped capture. An unconfirmed sighting took place sometime during the 1970s and no other individuals have been sighted since then.
