An adult Steppe pika (Ochotona pusilla) usually gets as old as 4 years.

Steppe pikas are around 21 days in the womb of their mother. When born, they weight 6 grams (0.01 lbs) and measure 5.1 cm (0′ 3″). As a member of the Ochotonidae family (genus: Ochotona), a Steppe pika caries out around 8 little ones per pregnancy, which happens around 3 times a year. Fully grown, they reach a bodylength of 15.7 cm (0′ 7″).
