Clouded leopards are around 93 days in the womb of their mother. When born, they weight 167 grams (0.37 lbs) and measure 3 cm (0′ 2″). As a member of the Felidae family (genus: Neofelis), their offspring is 2 babies per pregnancy. Fully grown, they reach a bodylength of 83.8 cm (2′ 9″).

As a reference: Usually, humans get as old as 100 years, with the average being around 75 years. After being carried in the belly of their mother for 280 days (40 weeks), they grow to an average size of 1.65m (5′ 5″) and weight in at 62 kg (137 lbs), which is obviously highly individual.

The clouded leopard (Neofelis nebulosa) is a medium-size wild cat occurring from the Himalayan foothills through mainland Southeast Asia into southern China. Since 2008, it is listed as Vulnerable on the IUCN Red List. Its total population is suspected to be fewer than 10,000 mature individuals, with a decreasing population trend, and no single population numbering more than 1,000 adults.It is also called mainland clouded leopard to distinguish it from the Sunda clouded leopard (N. diardi). It is the state animal of the Indian state of Meghalaya.
