An adult Himalayan tahr (Hemitragus jemlahicus) usually gets as old as 21.75 years.
Himalayan tahrs are around 195 days in the womb of their mother. When born, they weight 2.7 kg (5.95 lbs) and measure 1.3 cm (0′ 1″). As a member of the Bovidae family (genus: Hemitragus), their offspring is 1 babies per pregnancy. Fully grown, they reach a bodylength of 1.08 meter (3′ 7″).
