What is the maximal age a Rock cavy reaches?
An adult Rock cavy (Kerodon rupestris) usually gets as old as 11 years.
Rock cavys are around 75 days in the womb of their mother. When born, they weight 82 grams (0.18 lbs) and measure 8.5 cm (0′ 4″). As a member of the Caviidae family (genus: Kerodon), a Rock cavy caries out around 1 little ones per pregnancy, which happens around 5 times a year. Fully grown, they reach a bodylength of 10.2 cm (0′ 5″).
